Form. Quiet. Origin.
My bowls and vases are made from two materials in
different ways ground and touch: clay and felt.​
 
Clay - solid, archaic and enduring - is shaped by hand in
the silence of my studio and brought to its final shape in fire. Each piece bears traces of the creation process: a slight irregularity, a lively surface, a touch of movement.​
 
Felt – soft, warm and organic – is made from pure wool
from the Tyrolean Ötztal. Felt has a gentle, almost protective effect. Both materials speak of origin, clarity and calm.
